I manhandled actress Jayanti : Mohan Babu

Actor-cum-producer Mohan Babu has landed in many controversies in the past. There were many instances of Mohan Babu manhandling the heroines and co-artists. Mohan Babu slapped veteran actress Jayanthi on the sets of Pedarayudu and Shilpa Shivanand on the sets of Vishnu.

Jayanti, a popular actress, had also accused Mohan Babu of ill treatment.

Mohan Babu allegedly slapped the heroine Shilpa Shivanand and her mother on the sets of his son's debut film Vishnu. Shilpa Shivanand is the sister of popular actress Sakshi Shivanand. Even a case has been registered against him for intimidating and slapping heroine at the Jubilee Hills police July 22, 2003.

On the last day of the shooting of the film Vishnu. Shilpa Shivanand complained that she was feeling sick. Mohan Babu had asked her to take an hours rest and join the shooting later. She refused. Known for his short temper, Mohan Babu grabbed her hair and beat her on the sets at Annapoorna Studios, Hyderabad.

However, Mohanbabu had a different story to tell. He said that he had manhandled heroine Shilpa Shivanand, as she has misbehaved with the director of the film.

Mohanbabu said that he was not interested to comment on Jayanti issue, as the incident took place long time back.
